My name is Mrs. Jackie Tolbert, the wife of Vearl Tolbert and we are the parents of Vearl, Jr. and Quinton Tolbert.  We have resided in Gilcrease Hills for over 20 years.  I am a former educator for Tulsa Public Schools and have retired along with my husband. Our son, Vearl Jr. attended Academy Central Elementary School.  Our sons grew up and enjoyed the luxuries of living and growing up in GH such as the pool, playground, and even the trails. They both became graduates of Booker T. Washington H.S. continuing the legacy of their parents. Vearl Jr is a graduate of OU, resides with his wife  and works in technology, and has become a renowned saxophonist while Quinton attended TCC and Vo-Tech and works in aviation.   We currently have two grandchildren, Theodore and Tegan.   Our life consists of enjoying retirement along with spending time with our family members.  I am proud to say that living in GH has provided us with a safe, peaceful and quiet environment with decent neighbors that care for their properties as well as themselves.
