Letter from our new Veep

Dear Gilcrease Hills neighbors,

I am your new Vice-President of the board. I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for all the board members and alternates hard work and dedication to the GH Association. Your contributions have been invaluable to me, and I am grateful for all that you do. Specifically, I want to recognize our manager, Glen for his outstanding work and detail. Your contributions have not gone unnoticed, and I want to publicly acknowledge your efforts.

The board is currently looking for neighbors to join the Architectural Review Committee, Covenants committee, social committee, communication and Landscaping & Sustainability Committee. Neighbors, if you would like to join our effort to maintain one of the largest homeowners associations, probably in the country, please feel free to contact the office or me.

Many of you have concerns about the relaxation of rules, poor fences, and lack of keeping the grass cut timely so this is a great opportunity to join and bring your positive input and solutions. Don’t be the taillights, be the headlights and join a committee. You can click here to join right now!

Finally, I want to say, if you see a board member out in the communities, thank them for their service. Remember, board members are not paid. We are volunteers. Some of you may be thinking, “Well I would join if I had the experience.” Don’t let this stop you...most of us don’t have any experience—the only experience you need is to care about your community. So come join us and bring your positive input. Don’t be the Monday morning quarterback.

Once again, to all our volunteers, thank you for all that you do. You are a valued member of our team, and we appreciate your hard work and dedication.

Best regards,

Angela Williams,Vice-President
