You asked and we listened

There are several projects in the works. 200 bulbs will be planted in the waterfall area and our wildflower expert, Sarah Cross of Across the Prairie, is busy gathering seeds from our forest to plant in some of our green spaces as well. Several benches will be placed in the pond area for you to relax, enjoy and reflect.

We’re also working on a short nature walk that helps you identify some of our star native plants along our trails, such as the native prairie rose in the grassy meadow at the end of the school playground pictured. Many of the village signs now have lights on them. 

Continue to share your thoughts. Also, consider joining a committee and lend your talents so we can have an even better Gilcrease Hills. We’ll make it easy—just let us know what you think on the form below.
